Administrative Volunteers

Our team is designed to meet the administrative needs of Pastor and Minister Garrett and the FCC Leadership. Our tasks range from data entry and filing to assisting with various tasks needed throughout the church.

Altar Call Ministry

Our purpose is to assist those who respond to the altar invitation by sharing scriptures that will help them become established in their decision and commitment to GOD.

Clerks Ministry

Our purpose is to be the liaison between the congregation and the ministerial staff. We are responsible for assisting new members in their transition from their first visit to completion of membership classes; by providing adequate information regarding the Helps Ministries at this local assembly.

Evangelism/Outreach Ministry

The members of our Outreach Department travel into the community to share the good news of Jesus Christ on scheduled days.  Membership classes and Outreach training must be completed in order to participate in the Outreach Ministry.

Generation Fire Ministry

 Glorify God is based on 1 Corinthians 6:20. We are a youth ministry whose aim is to deal with and answer the questions of today’s youth with the Word of God using various forms and styles to reach and equip their generation. Must be 19 years of age and older to serve as a worker.

Kidscope (Children’s Ministry)

FCC’s Kidscope Ministry is designed for Children ages 6 months -11years old. Here they are taught the Word of God in ways they can easily understand, through the use of puppet shows, clowns, songs and more!

Women of All Walks Ministry

Our purpose is to minister to the needs of all ladies, to encourage their growth and spiritual maturity, and to love and serve others in their church and their community.

Marketing Ministry

Our goal is to ensure that Faith Christian Center and our pastors are always presented in the best possible image. We support the vision of our leaders by creating an outstanding brand of Pastor and first lady in the community and all over the world.  To accomplish our mission we focus on the dissemination of Gospel through various media.  We produce all marketing materials including CD series that serve the purpose of disseminating the Gospel and serve the congregation and beyond.  We maintain the website and all relevant marketing documents. We ensure that all marketing documents conform to the branding requirements.

MOD (Ministers of Defense)

We ensure the security of the church. Our ministry helps to prevent any disorder to the ministry gifts as well as the congregation by employing routine patrol of parking lots rear sanctuary stairwells, office areas, and church grounds. Volunteers must be 18 years and older and be a member of FCC. Training is provided

Music Ministry—Instrumental

Our purpose is to minister to the congregation and to prepare them for the ministry of the Word through music. We provide instrumental accompaniment for the Choir, Worship Team and soloist and provide special music during offertory. Those interested must attend a band audition.

Music Ministry—Choir

 This ministry consists of men and women, ages 17 and older. The primary purpose of the choir is to function as a corporate body of worship leaders who bring the congregation to a place of ministry to the Lord.

Nursing Home Ministry

This ministry helps to create a spiritual environment for residents in nursing homes, by sharing scriptures, songs, and the Love of God.

Parking Lot Ministry

This ministry helps to coordinate traffic in and out of our facilities.

Resource Center Ministry

The Resource Center manages the sales and distribution of books, tapes, CD’s, tickets for special events and other help aids to support people in their spiritual development.

Ride Provider (Transportation Ministry)

We provide pick-up and drop-off service for Sunday Morning service to those congregants who may not have transportation.  A valid driver license is required.

Sound Reinforcement Ministry

The Sound Reinforcement Ministry is responsible for ensuring the needs of and the quality of sound for both services and special events. We perform basic audio operations such as house sound, stage monitor mix, digital uplink mix, CD and tape duplication and basic equipment set-up and maintenance. Training is provided.

Usher/Hostesses Ministry

 This ministry provides an environment in which new visitors can feel welcomed by greeting them with a smile and acting in a way that Christ can be seen through them. Duties include: providing literature, collecting offerings, serving communion items and assisting during altar call and healing services.

Zest Ministry

Our vision is "Cleanliness next to godliness".  Exodus 40:32. Our role is to assist with the upkeep of the sanctuary and surrounding areas to ensure it's in appropriate order prior to worship service. We monitor the maintenance of the building inside and out and we coordinate set-up and break down for special events.

Upper Room Ministry

The “Upper Room” Ministry is an intercessory prayer ministry.  Our mission is to take prayer to another level, praying fervently and without ceasing.  Our purpose is to tear down strongholds of the enemy and build up the Kingdom of God through prayer.  We seek to teach God’s people the power of prayer through understanding and praying God’s infallible Word.  We proclaim that God’s Word is Truth and we understand that signs and wonders shall follow us.   Praying on one accord, our vision is to see God’s power manifested in the lives of His people through prayer. Acts 1:13-1.

Media Ministry

The purpose of the Media Ministry is to publish the gospel of Christ via the medium of television and video beyond the four walls of the church.  Effectively enhance, complement and serve the worship, word, and pastoral ministries of FCC Tampa via video throughout the services. Aid, direct, and inspire members in worship and attention to the word throughout the services.  Assist in vision-casting through professional graphics, imagery, and videos.

Dance Ministry

The Dance ministry's objective is to enhance believers' worship experience. We dance with expressions of praise, worship, and celebration to reach out to God. We dance before our Lord to express our gratitude, love, and joy to be in his presence. Psalm 150:4 "Praise his name with timbrel and dance; praise him stringed instruments and organs".

Information Specialists

Our mission is to accept everyone who walks through the doors of Faith Christian Center with an open heart and a welcoming smile, just as Jesus would do.  We are an extension of Pastor and Minister Garrett in thanking them for choosing FCC Tampa as their visiting church and to provide them with information about who we are, what we do, and that we are a church for all people.  We want to impact their lives the moment they enter the grounds of our church. We want everyone to leave our presence with a revelation of the God we serve and represent. We truly want their lives to be changed and re-arranged when they leave our presence.
